We strongly urge you not to do that. No matter how simple it may seem, electrical work is dangerous and requires expert knowledge and skill. Unlicensed electrical work is also illegal here in Australia. We always recommend you have a licensed and qualified electrician do any electrical work on your property, no matter how minor it may be.
